STRATEGY

EXISTING EDUCATION OFFICES ARE DIFFICULT TO SEE AS PUBLIC BUILDINGS WITH REAL PUBLICITY, FROM THE SPATIAL STRUCTURE THAT CONSTITUTES THE PUBLIC SYSTEM TO THE LAYOUT OF THE SPACE THAT MEETS THE URBAN.

THE MASTER PLAN OF SEJONG CITY GOVERNMENT OFFICE WAS A STRATEGICAL CONCEPT,CONSTRUCTING A DECENTRALIZED AND DETACHED CITY, RATHER THAN A FIXED OR COMPLETED IMAGE IN CONCEPT OF FLATCITY,LINK CITY AND ZERO CITY.

05.jpg

THE GOAL OF PUBLIC ARCHITECTURE IS PUBLICNESS, AND IT IS REALIZED THROUGH COMMUNICATION AND OPENNESS. CONSIDERING ITS PROGRAM,6100M2 SPACE-NOT A SECURITY ZONE- CAN BE DEPLOYED ON THE GROUND FLOOR AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.WE AIM TO CREATE A COMMUNITY OF HUMAN SCALE AND PUBLICITY ON GROUND LEVEL THAT EVERYONE ACCESS.TO REINFORCE THIS GOAL,THE STREETS ON THE SITE ARE PLANNED TO BE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY.

NATURAL CONTEXT

PREVIOUS CONCEPT, THE FORMATION OF BUILDING COMPLEX WAS DESIGNED IN HARMONY WITH NATURAL CONTEXT. THEREFORE, THE MAJOR LINEARITY OF THE PROPOSED STRUCTURE WAS ORIGINATED FROM THE EXISTING CONTOUR LINES IN NATURAL CONTEXT, AND IT WAS ABLE TO GAIN PERSUASIVENESS.
